If you’ve never been on a cruise before, you are likely to have lots of questions about it. How do I get to the ship from the airport? Are meals included in the price? What do I have to pay for while I am on the cruise? These are all great questions and we’ve got the answers for you!
What is included in the price?
- Roundtrip Aifare from San Francisco (coach)
- 10 night cruise
- All meals onboard, prepared using the finest and freshest ingredients
- Includes FOUR SHORE EXCURSIONS or $400 per person ship board credit
- Port taxes

Deposit $750 per person. Final payment is May 1st, 2017. Cancelation Fees:
91-120 Days Prior – $250 per person administrative fee++
76-90 Days Prior – 25% of Fare
61-75 Days Prior – 50% of Fare
31-60 Days Prior – 75% of Fare
0-30 Days Prior – 100% of Fare
For Owner’s, Vista and Oceania Suites, the cancellation amounts are as listed above with two exceptions: For cruises of less than 15 days, the administrative fee from 91 to 120 days prior to sailing is 10% of the Fare; and for cruises 15 days or longer, the administrative fee from 151 to 180 days prior to sailing is 10% of the Fare. Pricing is per person based on double occupancy.
What is not included:
These include, but are not limited to airport/departure taxes; cost of passport and visas; excess baggage charges; laundry; phone calls; all items of a personal nature; items not included on regular menus; expenses for additional sightseeing not specified in the itinerary; Alcohol, meals not detailed in the itinerary; and health, accident, baggage, or travel protection plans.

Are transfers included?
No. You will have to take a taxi to the pier and then back to the airport.
What do I have to pay for while I am on the cruise?
Any optional shore excursions. laundry; phone calls; all items of a personal nature; items not included on regular menus; expenses for additional sightseeing not specified in the itinerary; Alcohol; meals not detailed in the itinerary.
What should I pack?
Whatever you wear at home that you are comfortable in is what you can wear when on onboard. You should wear comfortable, casual attire, and if you perfer to participate in the more formal night, a nice dress or suit. Remember to bring a pair of walking shoes and a coat and maybe some gloves.
Do I need a passport?
Yes, you need a passport to travel outside of the US. A valid passport is required to travel on all Oceania programs. Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months after the scheduled return date of the trip. You should check with your travel agent or the US Consulate Service for information regarding necessary documentation. Non-US citizens must contact the appropriate consular office for entry requirements pertaining to your trip. Any visa(s) or other documentation required for a particular itinerary is the sole responsibility of the guest.
Do I need a visa?
The only visa requirement would be in Russia. If you are on Oceania's Shore Excursions, you will not need a visa. If you are getting off the ship on your own, you will need a visa.
What do you do when the ship is in port?
Shore excursions are included. Or you can stay onboard and just hang out.
Will I get seasick?
Chances are you will not. However, if you tend towards motion sickness, you can purchase something over the counter or see your Doctor before you go.
